We collect information that you provide directly and data collected automatically when you use the platform.
- Account details such as name, email address, and profile information
- Opportunity submissions including organisation details and content you choose to publish
- Support requests and feedback shared with our team
- Usage data and device details captured through cookies and similar tracking technologies
2. How we use your information
- Deliver and improve core platform functionality
- Verify accounts, secure access, and prevent abuse
- Send service updates and notifications you elect to receive
- Provide personalised recommendations when you consent to marketing cookies
- Analyse engagement to guide product decisions when you consent to analytics cookies
3. Cookie categories
We use three categories of cookies. You can manage preferences at any time from the Manage Consent page.

- Each consent decision (accept, reject, or customize) is recorded with a timestamp
- Records include the choices made for each cookie category and the method used (e.g., accept all, essential only, customize)
- For authenticated users, consent records are linked to their account
- For non-authenticated users, records include session information and IP address for audit purposes only
- Consent records are retained for up to 3 years to demonstrate compliance with legal obligations
- You can update your consent preferences at any time, and each change will be logged
These audit logs are used solely for compliance and accountability purposes and are not used for marketing or profiling.
5. Third-party processing
We work with trusted providers that help us deliver and monitor the service. Each vendor is reviewed for POPIA-aligned safeguards.
- Vercel Analytics (United States) for optional performance analytics
- Azure services (South Africa, West Europe) for infrastructure and storage
- Email delivery partners used to send transactional and marketing messages
Data may be transferred outside your country. Where this happens we rely on contracts with appropriate safeguards and process data only for the stated purposes.
6. Data retention
- Account data is kept while your profile remains active and for up to 24 months after closure unless legal obligations require longer retention
- Opportunity listings and public contributions remain visible until you remove them or request deletion
- Support correspondence is kept for up to 24 months to resolve ongoing issues
- Cookie preferences are stored for 13 months or until you withdraw consent
7. Your rights
- Request access to the personal information we hold about you
- Ask us to correct inaccuracies or delete your data
- Withdraw consent for analytics or marketing cookies at any time
- Object to processing when it impacts your privacy rights
